Gevity seeks a Clinical Project Manager with Care Management Agency (CMA) experiencefor full-time employment as a Management Consultantwith Gevity’s team in the New York area. We are open to applicants from anywhere in the East Coast of the United States that are willing to relocate or travel regularly for work. Applications from candidates seeking either full-time, regular employment or freelance work will be considered. The working schedule may vary, but is typically 40 hours per week, working on client site from Monday to through Thursday and from home on Fridays.

Over time, you will be asked to develop an area of expertise within health policy, healthcare management or health IT, on which you will be expected to become a reference for your colleagues and clients.
Background on your first engagement
Gevity has multiple clients in the New York area that are Health System Providers. As a Management Consultant, you will work on a variety of engagements for them. Your first project will involve the planning and implementation of clinical strategies for CMAs in New York City. These new strategies are intended to improve patient care and safety, reduce hospitalizations, as well as enhance patients’ experience under care of the agencies and provide clinicians access to more information about their patients. You will be responsible for the coordination of the implementation with 5 highly engaged CMAs as part of the larger Clinical Project Management Office (PMO) of a Health System.
Under the supervision of the Director of the PMO, you will take a leadership role with these care management agencies as their “implementation agent” either as suggested by the Health System Strategy or internally by the CMAs. You will be responsible for standard aspects of project management including planning of activities, tracking timelines and resources and applying project controls to ensure appropriate reporting and communications with project stakeholders. You will act as the main contact point for these CMA within the health system, present, explain and train the CMAs on the clinical strategies, work with the CMAs to identify and document their needs and issues, support the contracting process between the health system and the CMAs, and generally enable them to successfully achieve the outcomes outlined in the clinical strategy.
