Role Description

Gevity is looking to hire a senior consulting professional to join our dynamic team as a Director to oversee our Prairie geographic practices (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba).  The role is that of a producing manager who creates and nurtures client relationships across our target markets; manages the Prairie (PR) practice to maximize opportunities while maintaining a high degree of client satisfaction and integrity; and delivers high quality professional services in the area of his or her personal expertise.

Position Requirements

  • A passion for marketing and managing the delivery of a wide range of professional services to organizations in the health, social services and life sciences sectors.
  • Previous experience developing and executing business development plans with proven success in ensuring new business objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Proven capabilities to network and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including potential clients, potential staff or potential partner firms, as well as the ability to leverage this network for the purposes of recruitment and business development.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of professionals consisting of staff and contract associates.
  • Expertise in effectively managing multiple stakeholders and developing and maintaining healthy stakeholder relationships. Proven ability to proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues with clients, staff and delivery partners as they arise.
  • Proven experience in ensuring accurate and timely communications with all stakeholders.
  • Proven ability in overseeing all aspects of project delivery

 

Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • 3 years + experience in business development with a distinguished record of continual achievement
  • 5 or more years proven successful project management experience for health, social service or life sciences related projects
  • PMP certification
  • PRINCE II certification
  • PROSCI certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • The ability to effectively deal with remote teams and users
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Desirable:

  • CPHIMS-CA certification desired
  • ITIL certification
  • Bilingual candidates will be given preference
