Integration Project Manager - MEDITECH

Background

Our client requires an expert level Project Manager to assist on a Meditech project within health care on a 2-year, opportunity. It is expected that this role with start at part time and ramp up to full time hours.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of six (6) years of related Consulting Category experience; or a combination of diploma, certifications and directly related experience equaling an absolute minimum of ten (10) years;
  • Expert level consultant with skills and experience necessary to produce the desired deliverables;
  • Exceptional English language oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills including proven ability to work and communicate with senior healthcare executives (Executive Director and Vice President level);
  • Past working knowledge/experience with typical clinical information system Vendor implementation approaches and style. For instance, familiarity with how Vendors address
    • clinical engagement of customers;
    • structuring and including contractual deliverables into their customer work plans;
    • providing canned phase definitions/project plan tools to their customer, and
    • how they guide its clients to approaching configuration of its modules.
  • MEDITECH expertise. Preference to candidates who have delivered multiple MEDITECH projects;
  • Familiarity with clinical information application capabilities;
  • Experience within the BC health authority environment is preferred.

Assets:

The following will be considered strong assets for this role:

  • Any other industry recognized certifications, specifically in Project Management, (PMP), Business Analysis (CBAP), Change Management (PROSCI) or Prince II.

The successful contract candidate will provide their own laptop or other computing hardware, and software licenses to perform their duties.

Shortlisted candidates for this opportunity will require a high-level approach to the project work, detailing your experience offering project management consulting, detailed project examples for each area of required experience plus 3 detailed references.
